Things to see very close to the wedding:
Glendalough - an ancient burial ground surrounded by stunning mountains. There are many amazing walks in this area from an hour to a few days.
Powerscourt - A (relatively) huge waterfall and some beautiful gardens
It’s a very scenic place and there are plenty of walks and nature, all avail on visitwicklow.ie
Dublin:
The coolest little city in the world
(we maybe a bit biased)
One of the coolest things we have done in Dublin and we only did it recently was Kilmainham jail. It’s the jail where all the Irish revolutionaries were kept and executed. Fantastic tour and incredibly knowledgeable and passionate staff there. Also a spot of many movies locations.
Guinness Brewery: Some say its not the best Guinness in Dublin but it’s a great tour and fab views of the city at the top.
Jameson Whiskey Distillery: Same deal just the hard stuff instead of the black stuff!
Pubs, Pubs and more Pubs: Go to as many pubs as you can. They are old, plenty of character and the heart and soul of the city. This is where you will observe the Irish. Some brill pubs in the city are:
Doyles, Keoghs, The Globe Bar, The Brazen Head, O’Sheas, Diceys, Sweeneys, Grogans.
There is an app called ‘Publin’ with all pubs, live music and what’s happening in each pub.
If you are the literary type and interest in Irelands many famous writers like James joyce, try the Joyce Museum or a Walking Literary Tour or pub crawl. If the music is your things, there is a Rock 'n' Stroll tour of the city.
The national Gallery - If you like art; and its free.
Christ Church Cathedral - even if you are not catholic, it’s a very cool church with a great story. Its here that you can visit ‘Dublinia’ a very cool interactive tour of Viking Dublin.
Viking Splash Tour - Even if you are not interested in Dublins Viking past, this tour is a bit of fun and you can get drunk. You get to wear a Viking hat, shout at people on the street and the tour even goes on the river.

Our personal collection of
tourist sights, spots and sups!
County Wicklow where the wedding will take place is probably one of the most beautiful places in Ireland and definitely worth a look around before or after the wedding. Many movies including Braveheart were filmed in this area.
Best Of The Rest:
By no means a definitive list
Go explore
Cliffs of Moher - Largest cliffs in Europe and on a good day, incredible sweeping views of the Atlantic. 2 hour drive from Dublin. Best would be to stay in Galway City (awesome little city) and visit from there.
Galway City - Very Irish, very quaint, very old and a gateway to some of the big natural tourist attractions. Worth a night or 2.
The Ring of Kerry - Very southern tip of Ireland, a ring of beautiful mountains and lakes. You can walk, drive or cycle it. Also in this area: Killarney national park.
The Perfect Pint - Search far and wide and let us know how it goes… the holy grail of the perfect pint is ever ongoing, but as a wise man said, The journey is more important than the destination.
